We use this information to determine whether an issue involves a Bulldog pattern or production error, an installation mistake, shipping damage, a product defect, an incorrect order, or another cause.

Every qualifying Bulldog Protection Films PPF kit includes one complimentary replacement panel for an installation mistake. This customer-support benefit is separate from the Bulldog 100% Fitment Guarantee.

Information submitted with a replacement-panel or fitment request may be retained as reasonably necessary to process the request, document the resolution, prevent misuse, improve our patterns, and maintain business records.

For complete eligibility, coverage, and claim terms, please review our Warranty, Return Policy, and Terms & Conditions pages.

5. INSTALLER-REFERRAL REQUESTS

If you ask us to help locate an installer, we may use your location, contact information, toolbox information, purchased product, and requested service to identify potential installation options.

At your request or with your permission, we may provide limited information to an independent installer so the installer can contact you or evaluate your project.

Independent installers are separate businesses and are not employees or agents of Bulldog Protection Films. They may maintain their own privacy practices. We do not provide customer information to independent installers for unrelated marketing merely because a customer purchased a product from us.

6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve the website.

  • Page navigation

  • Security and fraud prevention

  • Session management

  • Remembering cookie preferences

These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and generally cannot be disabled through the Site’s cookie controls.

Analytics and Performance Cookies

Squarespace may use analytics and performance cookies to help us understand:

  • Website traffic

  • Traffic sources

  • Unique visits

  • Device and browser information

  • Page and product performance

  • Search activity

Where required by applicable law, nonessential cookies will be restricted until the visitor provides consent through the Site’s cookie banner or preference controls.

Advertising Cookies

We do not currently use a separately installed third-party behavioral-advertising pixel for cross-context targeted advertising.

If we later add an advertising, retargeting, or external analytics service, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any consent or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

Managing Cookies

You may manage nonessential cookies through the cookie banner or cookie-preference control available on the Site. You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

Blocking necessary cookies may prevent customer accounts, shopping carts, checkout, or other portions of the Site from working correctly.

7. ANALYTICS

We use Squarespace Analytics to understand Site and commerce performance. This may include aggregated or pseudonymous information concerning visits, traffic sources, devices, popular content, product views, searches, sales, and cart activity.

We use this information to operate the Site, evaluate performance, identify technical issues, improve products and content, and better understand how visitors use the Site.

You may voluntarily subscribe to promotional emails through checkout, a newsletter form, or another signup opportunity.

We may use Squarespace Email Campaigns, Squarespace mailing-list features, or another authorized communication provider to maintain subscription preferences, distribute messages, and measure delivery, opens, clicks, or campaign performance.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by:

Unsubscribing from promotional messages will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications concerning orders, payments, production, shipping, accounts, customer-service requests, fitment claims, warranties, replacement panels, refunds, or security matters.

We do not automatically enroll customers in promotional email unless they make the applicable selection or otherwise provide permission.

Service providers are expected to process information only for authorized business purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Bulldog Protection Films, our customers, the public, or others.

10. SALE, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use personal information for targeted advertising through a separately installed advertising pixel.

Some state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than an exchange of information for money. If our practices change in a manner covered by those definitions, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required notice or opt-out method.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.

11. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • Completing and documenting transactions

  • Producing and verifying custom-fit products

  • Providing customer, fitment, warranty, and replacement support

  • Maintaining customer accounts

  • Responding to disputes, refunds, or chargebacks

  • Complying with tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and legal obligations

  • Enforcing agreements

  • Preventing fraud and security incidents

  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and our legal, operational, and contractual requirements.

We may retain aggregated or deidentified information that can no longer reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.

12. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

The Site uses Squarespace’s hosting and security infrastructure, and payment information is processed by the payment provider presented during checkout.

However, no website, electronic transmission, payment system, or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If we determine that a security incident requires notification under applicable law, we will provide the required notice.

13. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your place of residence and whether the applicable privacy law applies to our business, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information

  • Request access to personal information

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information

  • Request deletion of certain personal information

  • Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information

  • Opt out of the sale of personal information

  • Opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying profiling

  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent

  • Appeal the denial of a qualifying privacy request

  • Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right

These rights may be subject to legal limitations and exceptions. For example, we may retain information needed to complete a transaction, comply with recordkeeping requirements, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or exercise legal rights.

Submitting a Privacy Request

To submit a privacy request, contact:

Email: sales@toolboxprotectionfilm.com
Phone: (314) 266-9008

Please use the subject line “Privacy Request.”

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect customer information from unauthorized access.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent’s authorization and verification of the customer’s identity.

If applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal a decision by replying to our response with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.”

14. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY DISCLOSURE

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Bulldog Protection Films, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information. They may also have rights to opt out of qualifying sales or sharing and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories of information described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • Identifiers

  • Customer-record information

  • Commercial and transaction information

  • Internet or electronic-network activity

  • Approximate location information

  • Inferences concerning product interests and preferences

We use and disclose these categories for the business and commercial purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

The California Consumer Privacy Act applies only to businesses that meet its statutory requirements and thresholds.

15. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

Where required by applicable law, we will recognize a valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of qualifying sales or sharing for the browser or device sending the signal.

Because we do not currently sell personal information or use a separately installed cross-context behavioral-advertising integration, such a signal may not materially change the Site’s present operation.

16. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Site and our products are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

17. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

The Site may contain links to manufacturer websites, social media platforms, independent installers, payment providers, or other third-party websites and services.

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or operating practices of independently operated third-party services. We encourage you to review the applicable third party’s privacy policy before providing personal information.

18. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS

Bulldog Protection Films and the Site are operated from the United States.

If you access the Site from another country, your information may be processed in or transferred to the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

19. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our products, website functions, integrations, service providers, business practices, or legal obligations.

The revised Privacy Policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Site or by other appropriate means.
